Epic Rail Jam #2

It doesn't take a mountain and a foot of fresh to have a good time shredding. Just ask the folks over at Epic Snow on NW 23rd and Vaughn in Portland. All it took them was a few truckloads of the white stuff and a fun box. Add in the gracious help of Grenade gloves, Betty Rides, and MHSS... and the After School Jibba Jam was set.

Rounding out the event was free grub like grilled up hot dogs, Vitamin Water, beer (just for the grown folk) and energy bars from Mt-n-Man Chia Bars to enjoy around the raging trash can bumfire. As if that wasn't enough, Epic had a one-day only sale of 40% off everything! Needless to say the lot was packed. Kids were throwing down hard on the box for a chance to win all kinds of free gear from the sponsors. The top two in men's and women's got hooked up, as well as the top grom in boys' and girls'. More swag was doled out for best trick, best snow bro and whatever else the Epic cats wanted.

In the end, everyone had a good time and didn't spend a dime (unless it was on a sick deal in the store). Stay tuned for next time because if the mountain is tame, there's always the party in the parking lot.
