Mt. Hood Snow Sports

We at MHSS are always looking to help promote the locals. We're all about it. One local who is definitely doing her thing and tearing it up is Angela Halo. We emailed her and asked her to write a little about herself, and here's what she had to say:

Hey I am Angela Halo Wilson. I have been on the snow my whole life, and have always enjoyed the magic of the mountains. I started skiing as a young girl, and  have been snowboarding for about 5 years. The act of snowboarding is such a good meditation for me.

I enjoy dedicating my time to pass this joy onto others. I spend some of my time on Mt. Hood, coaching at Windell's Snowboard camp, teaching young girls to progress in the park. The rest of my time is spent documenting riding on Mt Hood. It's such an amazing place, and I am honored to be a part of it! 

I started 2009 out with two 2nd place contest finishes, one in the Burton AM Series @ Snoqualmie and the other in the Timberline Fusion series Slopestyle. I plan on competing in the Nikita Chikita all-girl slopestyle later this month in Mammoth, and also a Billabong event in Canada, and Tahoe. I have also been filming this season with the shredbetties.com crew. They are a coming-up all girl online shred magazine, who is also planning on dropping a print issue this fall.

Other than that I will be spending my time on the mountain, enjoying everything mother nature has to offer!
