Timberline Lodge

Timberline Resort is rated as one of the top 10 resorts according to Transworld snowboarding, and for damn good reason. Timberline features some of the most epic freestyle terrain, is open year round, and is the home resort of many professional skiiers and snowboarders. With a large amount of terrain above and below the treeline you can experience wide open powder runs and runs through the trees all in the same day.

Timberline is relatively flat once you get below the Palmer Lift, so Timberline isn't highly regarding by skiiers and snowboarders as a freeride destination. Timberline is most respected for it's dedication to creating world class freestyle terrain which suits all skill levels and abilities, even proffesionals. When it comes to Skiing and Snowboarding on Mt. Hood, Timberline is the place for great park laps, excellent spring riding, and more. Skiiers and Snowboarders also highly respect Timberline as they work hard for their seasons pass holders, and they open earlier than any other resort, and stay open later.

Rode Timberline this past sunday. It's pretty barren but something is better than nothing! If you can handle hiking the rails are pretty sick!
